  • Improves Understanding & Support – Sharing results with loved ones, educators, or employers can help them better understand your needs and how to offer meaningful support.

  • Guides Workplace & School Accommodations – Official documentation from testing can help initiate discussions about potential modifications to improve focus, productivity, and well-being.

  • Reveals Treatment Efficacy – Testing can track progress over time, helping to determine which interventions—whether therapy, medication, or lifestyle changes—are most effective.

With a clearer picture of ADHD and its impact, individuals can make informed choices, advocate for their needs, and access the resources necessary to thrive.

What to Expect from Comprehensive ADHD Testing:

Session 1: Intake & Semi-Structured Interview

Your evaluation begins with a DIVA (Diagnostic Interview for ADHD in Adults), a structured conversation based on DSM-5 criteria. We’ll explore how symptoms of ADHD have impacted your life from childhood to adulthood, including attention, impulsivity, hyperactivity, and executive functioning. When appropriate, input from a family member, partner, or close friend may be encouraged for additional insight.

This comprehensive and structured approach helps determine whether ADHD is a likely diagnosis and guides next steps, including further testing if needed.

Session 2: Standardized ADHD Testing

In the second session, you'll complete a computerized assessment designed to objectively measure attention, impulsivity, hyperactivity, and executive functioning. This structured test helps differentiate ADHD from other conditions with overlapping symptoms, such as anxiety or learning disorders.

Our standardized tools provide quantifiable data that enhances the accuracy of the diagnosis and informs treatment recommendations. This session ensures that we’re not just relying on self-reporting but incorporating evidence-based measures to get a complete picture of your cognitive and behavioral patterns.

Session 3: Results Review & Treatment Recommendations

In the final session, we’ll meet to discuss your assessment results and diagnostic findings. If ADHD is confirmed, we will provide a comprehensive explanation of your unique ADHD profile, including strengths, challenges, and how symptoms may be affecting various aspects of your life.

We’ll also explore treatment options and personalized recommendations, which may include:

  • Behavioral strategies for managing symptoms

  • Therapy approaches tailored to ADHD (e.g., CBT, executive functioning coaching)

  • Lifestyle modifications and coping skills

  • Guidance on medication considerations (if applicable)

  • Support resources for school or workplace accommodations

Additionally, we’ll discuss how to communicate your diagnosis with important people in your life, such as family, educators, or employers, to help them understand how to best support you. Official documentation from this evaluation can be used to advocate for workplace or school accommodations, ensuring you have the tools and support needed to thrive.

By the end of the process, you’ll leave with clarity, validation, and an actionable plan to move forward with confidence.
